The 2004 SAFE Boats Defender 25 is a full-cabin aluminum explorer designed for serious work in challenging conditions. Built to government specifications, it has a rated capability for 10-foot seas and an unsinkable hull design. The boat measures 25 feet in length with an 8-foot beam and is powered by twin Yamaha engines producing 450 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 40 knots. The 110-gallon fuel tank supports extended operations.
