2005 Beneteau 423

The 2005 Beneteau 423 is a 41-foot fiberglass sailing yacht powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 72 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots. This boat was actively cruised across open water, including Gulf of Mexico crossings and extended stays throughout the Florida Keys and Bahamas, and has been continuously maintained and upgraded for self-sufficient offshore operation.

The yacht accommodates two staterooms—an aft king berth and a forward queen berth—along with two full heads, one featuring a molded glass shower door. Climate control includes a dual-zone marine air conditioning system and a Webasto heating unit. The galley features a recently installed Dometic refrigerator and freezer. A 52-inch flat-screen television is installed in the main cabin space.

Power management is handled by 800 watts of solar panels mounted on a custom aft arch, a hybrid battery bank combining Renogy lithium-ion and West Marine AGM batteries, and a Xantrex 2500-watt inverter supplying 24/7 power to galley outlets. Navigation and control systems include dual 9-inch Raymarine Axiom touchscreen chartplotters at the helm and nav station, a Raymarine linear autopilot, and a Lewmar bow thruster for docking maneuvers. The hull received complete sanding and repainting with premium Interlux bottom paint in 2024, and ten seacocks have been replaced over the preceding two years.

A 2024 West Marine 410 RIB tender with a rebuilt Johnson 4-stroke outboard is included. The boat requires minor finishing work on an engine panel housing, a canvas bimini top, and a starboard electric winch.
