2005 Catalina 350

The 2005 Catalina 350 is a 36-foot fiberglass sloop built for comfortable cruising while maintaining strong sailing performance. She carries a 13-foot beam and offers 6'10" of cabin headroom, creating interior volume that feels much larger than her modest length. The cockpit stretches 8'6" long, providing ample space for watch-keeping and entertaining underway.

Accommodations include two cabins and one head with a separate stall shower. The forward master cabin features a centerline island bed with innerspring mattress. A convertible salon table and additional sleeping arrangements sleep six total. The interior showcases custom teak cabinetry, varnished teak trim, cabin window shades, opening ports with screens, and deck hatches. A chart table with storage and hanging lockers support cruising operations. The galley includes a two-burner LP gas stove with oven and a 12-volt Adler Barber refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. Climate control is provided by a 16,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating system with digital thermostat.

The boat is powered by a 35-horsepower Universal diesel engine with 1,222 hours and single-lever control. Sailing hardware is comprehensive: a fully battened in-boom furling mainsail with Forespar system, 140% roller furling genoa with foam luff, whisker pole, Harken self-tailing winches, and all halyards led aft to the cockpit. The hull features Kato davits, a custom fold-down cockpit table, transom swim platform, electric anchor windlass, and dual anchors with chain. Deck protection includes a Lippincott stainless steel bimini and dodger.

Recent updates include new bottom paint in 2024, new house batteries, new cutlass bearing in 2023, and a new damper plate in 2022. Electronics comprise Garmin 740 GPS chartplotter, Raymarine i70 wind and speed instruments, Raymarine tri-data display, Raymarine autopilot, and ICOM VHF radio. Two 120-watt solar panels with Pro Star controller support the 12-volt system. A Max-Prop three-blade folding propeller and PYI dripless shaft coupling complete the mechanical package.
