2012 Hunter 36

This 2012 Hunter 36 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built for comfortable coastal passage-making. The design features a full-roach Dacron mainsail paired with a roller-furling jib, a wider beam of 12.33 feet, and a hull optimized for stability and speed. Power comes from a 40-horsepower Elco electric motor, which operates quietly and efficiently at cruising speeds of 6.5 knots and a maximum speed of 7 knots.

The interior is arranged with two private cabins, a full galley, and a U-shaped dinette that doubles as a sleeping berth. A single head serves the accommodations. The boat carries the Hunter Mariner Package specification, which includes refrigeration, an LPG stove with oven, electric anchor windlass, traveler on arch, teak fold-down transom, dodger, bimini top, Magnum inverter/charger, and a 36-inch folding leather wheel.

Navigation and vessel systems feature a new Raymarine Axiom Plus 9 with Quantum radar. Power systems include new house and propulsion AGM batteries paired with a new motor control unit. Sails are new Ullman main and jib, supported by a new Tides mainsail track system, new lazy jack system, and new mainsail stack pack. The jib furler system and forestay have been recently replaced.
