2005 Jongert 2900M

This 2005 Jongert 2900M is a 95-foot aluminum-hulled sailing yacht designed by Tony Castro. Built to the yard's reputation for quality construction, the boat combines modern cruising comfort with strong sailing characteristics. The keel was optimized in 2008 and 2011, enhancing performance particularly in light winds and improving competitive racing capability.

The yacht is equipped with a carbon Hall Spars mast and Park Avenue boom, rod rigging, Harken winches with a captive main winch, and a full suit of North 3DI sails. A single 316 hp Scania diesel engine provides auxiliary power, with a cruising speed of 9 knots and maximum speed of 12 knots.

Below deck, the boat offers five cabins and five heads. The accommodations reflect the modern comfort standards typical of well-maintained cruising yachts of this caliber. The mast and rig were serviced for the five-year survey in autumn 2023.
