This 2005 Lagoon 440 catamaran is a 44-foot fiberglass multihull powered by twin 80 hp diesel engines. Built for extended cruising, the boat combines spacious accommodation with practical offshore capability. The three-cabin layout plus separate crew quarters provides flexible berthing for families or charter groups, while dual helm stations—one in the salon and one on the flybridge—offer commanding sightlines and operational flexibility in different conditions.
The propulsion and mechanical systems have been extensively maintained. The engines have run 3,050 hours and were fully overhauled at 2,000 hours; the sail drives have been renewed. A 3.20-meter Eastmarin aluminum tender with 20 hp Suzuki outboard is included, along with a Besenzoni hydraulic gangway and a custom chrome hardtop. The boat carries substantial electrical infrastructure: 4 × 200W solar panels plus 1 × 550W, a 9.5 kW Onan generator, five 240 Ah Bosch service batteries installed in 2024, and a 3000W inverter with dual Mastervolt rectifiers. A watermaker produces 240 liters per hour for extended passages.
Interior amenities include air conditioning throughout, Webasto diesel heating, and three refrigerators plus a separate freezer and ice maker. The galley is supported by additional coffee-making equipment. Entertainment systems with TV screens are installed in the salon, aft cockpit, and master cabin. Sailing equipment comprises five Harken electric winches, a 35 kg anchor with 80 meters of 12 mm chain, underwater lights, and deck spotlights. Navigation and communication systems include dual chartplotters, autopilot with remote control, radar, satellite systems, and three VHF stations. An eight-person life raft (2023) is on board, along with a canoe and stand-up paddleboard for recreation.
