2005 Mainship 40 Trawler

The 2005 Mainship 40 is a 40-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single Yanjem 370 horsepower diesel engine. The boat has logged 1,723 engine hours and features twin thrusters for maneuvering. Simrad and Raymarine electronics support navigation and operation.

The interior showcases cherry wood cabinetry throughout, with a galley on the starboard side outfitted with a dual voltage refrigerator and freezer, microwave, three-burner range, and oven. The main salon includes an ultra leather sofa with entertainment center and Bose audio system. A dinette to port seats four. Forward is a master stateroom with a centerline queen berth, and a second stateroom offers two single berths. The head features a separate stall shower accessible from both the master stateroom and companionway.

Recent updates include new refrigerator, microwave, ice maker, wine refrigerator, and an 8D battery. A second 50-amp automatic charger maintains battery systems. An aft air conditioning and heat unit provides climate control. The teak cooler, electric couch, electric stove, small oven, and a 50-inch flat screen television are installed.

The boat offers wide molded steps to the covered aft deck, lighted and recessed walkways with overhead protection forward, and ample seating space on the bridge. A summer kitchen option featuring a grill and sink is located aft of the centerline helm. Rails, hatches, and portlights are fabricated from 316L stainless steel. Optional features include a windlass for anchor retrieval and dual roller pulpit. An outdoor aft shower is fitted.
