2005 X-Yachts X-40

The X-Yachts X-40 is a 40-foot racer-cruiser built in 2005 with a fiberglass hull and full keel. Powered by a 28 hp Yanmar diesel engine, the boat combines performance with stable handling across a range of conditions. The design reflects X-Yachts' approach to both racing and cruising, with clean lines and a balanced hull shape.

The interior provides three cabins and one head, accommodating a small group comfortably. The layout is straightforward and efficient, suited to extended cruising. An electric windlass is fitted for anchor handling.

The boat was maintained by X-Yachts from new and has been recently prepared, with work completed in summer 2025. It presents as ready for extended offshore sailing.
