2006 Beneteau 473

This 2006 Beneteau 473 is a 47-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a single 74 hp Yanmar diesel engine. The boat combines capable performance with comfortable living spaces—the open cockpit suits extended time under sail, while the interior layout prioritizes livability for extended cruising.

Below deck, the yacht offers three cabins and two heads with electric seawater flush. The galley includes a Force 10 three-burner stove, microwave, and Adler Barbara refrigeration, plus an Isotherm hot water system and Wabasco heating. Water is stored in two fiberglass tanks and one plastic tank; fuel capacity is 55 gallons in a plastic tank. The stateroom features custom foam mattresses. A Jabsco fresh water pump with accumulator and galley UV filter support daily operations.

The sailplan consists of a fully battened Precision mainsail (2022), a Precision furling genoa (2022), and an asymmetric spinnaker from 2006, all managed by three Lewmar self-tailing winches. A Lewmar electric windlass with remote control handles ground tackle—a Mantus 55 anchor on 300 feet of 3/8-inch chain and 5/8-inch nylon rode. The mast steps on the keel.

Electronics include Raymarine ST 60 instruments for depth, log/knot, and wind, plus an ST 6001 autopilot. Navigation and communication systems comprise an ICOM IC-M422A VHF and AIS transponder.
