2006 Duffy 37 Downeast

This 2006 Duffy 37 Downeast is a fiberglass cruising boat built on a traditional lobster boat hull, designed by Spencer Lincoln and finished to yacht standards. Powered by a single Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel engine producing 540 horsepower, it cruises at 16–17 knots and reaches a top speed of 20–21 knots. The boat carries 274 gallons of fuel, 142 gallons of water, and 40 gallons in its holding tank, with a dry weight of 27,000 pounds.

The layout includes a queen V-berth forward, a dinette that converts to a double berth, a separate shower stall, and a full galley equipped with an air fryer, microwave/convection oven, propane stove and grill. The galley and head feature Marine Elegance fixtures with freshwater electric operation.

Navigation and electronics are comprehensive: dual Garmin systems with 8616 chartplotter, CHIRP sounder, xHD radar, autopilot with remote, Sirius/XM weather, and Class B 600 AIS. VHF options include Garmin, ICOM, and Standard Horizon handhelds with dual Shakespeare antennas. Additional systems include reverse-cycle air conditioning, a Magnum 4000-watt pure sine wave inverter, bow and stern thrusters with remote control, and security cameras in the aft cabin and engine room.

Fishing and recreational equipment includes a 9.5-foot AB inflatable dinghy with 9.9 hp Yamaha outboard, stainless steel davit with electric windlass, Rocna anchor with electric windlass controls at the bow and helm, and multiple rod holders with swivels and spreader bars. The hull was repainted in 2021 with Royal Blue Awlgrip HTD. A new Phasor 4.5 kW generator was installed in 2025. The Cummins engine has 2,485 hours of service.
