The 2007 Beneteau 49 is a fiberglass sailing yacht with a shoal draft and manageable proportions—49 feet long with a 14.75-foot beam. The boat combines ease of handling with genuine comfort, featuring a bow thruster for docking, furling sails from 2017 and 2018, and a newly installed forestay with Harken furler in 2024. Electric primary winches and an electric windlass with a 44-pound Rocna anchor keep deck work simple. A full cockpit enclosure, bimini top, and newly refinished teak table provide flexible shelter and entertaining space.
Below deck, the layout flows naturally from a well-designed galley on the port side through a light-filled main salon with dining area and nav station. The owner's cabin forward features a walk-around queen berth with generous storage. An aft stateroom with athwartships bunk and the day head complete the accommodation plan. Both heads have separate shower stalls and proper ventilation. The galley includes a gimbaled three-burner LPG stove with oven, large refrigerator-freezer, and double sink.
Climate control comes from a 12K and 16K BTU reverse-cycle heat and air system, supported by a NextGen 5.5 kilowatt generator installed in 2015 with 1200 hours of use. The Yanmar 4JH4-HTE turbocharged engine has 3642 hours. Electrical systems comprise four 4D house batteries (three from 2021, one from 2024) plus dual 30-amp shore power inlets. Navigation gear includes a new 12-inch Raymarine Axiom MFD with radar from 2024, autopilot, and AIS. The boat carries an included inflatable dinghy with davit system and boarding platform with ladder. A rub rail was added to the hull in 2014.
