2007 Dolphin 460

The Dolphin 460 is a performance cruising catamaran built in 2007 with a composite hull and twin 80-horsepower Volvo diesel engines. This model is known throughout the cruising community for exceptional build quality, daggerboards that enable efficient windward sailing and access to shallow anchorages, excellent bridge deck clearance, and thoughtful interior design. The boat combines sporty handling with functional accommodations suited to extended voyaging.

This example features the Owner's Version layout with three cabins and two heads, including an owner suite to starboard and an extra pilot berth. The saloon is fitted with an angular couch and folding table. Interior appointments reflect the Dolphin reputation for quality fit and finish, while the deck arrangement and systems are designed for comfortable family life aboard.

An extensive refit completed in 2023 and 2024 updated the boat's equipment for continued world voyaging. Recent work includes new standing rigging, a custom cockpit sun deck with integrated solar arch, and 2440 watts of solar panels feeding a 1600-amp-hour Renogy lithium house battery bank. Additional systems include North Sails 3Di Endurance mainsail and genoa, air conditioning and heating, a dishwasher, and Starlink satellite internet. The boat has sailed extensively including a full circumnavigation and benefits from years of attentive ownership and maintenance.
