This 2007 Tartan 4400 underwent comprehensive redesign and rebuild at Tartan Yachts under the direction of designer Tim Jackett. The result is a distinctly configured yacht featuring a custom CCR sail plan and a 68-foot carbon fiber mast, paired with modern Garmin electronics, Victron lithium power management, and a full suite of offshore cruising systems. The boat retains the core design and build quality of the original Tartan 4400 while incorporating contemporary technology and performance upgrades throughout.
The sail plan includes a self-tacking jib, 155% furling reacher, in-boom furling mainsail, and electric cockpit winches designed for short-handed operation. The electrical system combines lithium house batteries, a Victron inverter and charger, high-output alternator, and solar panels. Navigation and communication equipment comprises dual Garmin chartplotters with radar, AIS, autopilot, sonar, wind, speed, and depth instruments, plus VHF and Fusion audio.
Accommodations span two cabins and two heads with an updated interior. Cruising equipment includes a watermaker, washer/dryer, generator, Starlink, davits, keel-cooled refrigeration, air conditioning, and a dinghy with outboard motor. The refit is fully documented with invoices and completion survey by Tim Jackett.
