The 2008 Austal 413 is a fast catamaran passenger ferry built in Australia with capacity for 413 passengers and a crew of 8. At 155 feet overall length with a 38-foot beam, the aluminum hull is designed for coastal service. Four MTU 15V4000M70 diesel engines deliver 12,432 horsepower through KaMeWa water jets, driving the boat to a maximum speed of 46.5 knots with a cruising speed of 42 knots.
