2008 Fountaine Pajot Salina 48

This 2008 Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 catamaran was built in October of that year and has remained with its original owner, never chartered. The three-cabin layout is supported by substantial systems configured for extended cruising, with dual Yanmar 55hp diesel engines and a comprehensive suite of navigation and onboard power generation equipment.

The accommodation includes two heads, plus an additional two WCs, hot water heating via central Hydronic system, a washer-dryer combination, and galley facilities with gas stove, oven, and microwave. Water production is handled by an AquaBase desalinator rated at 180 litres per hour. Electrical systems comprise a 7kW generator, six solar panels, four 200Ah service batteries, shore power with 220V distribution, and dual water heaters. Both the saloon and sleeping areas have insect screens installed.

The sailing setup features a battened mainsail on a ball-bearing track, roller-furled jib and genaker, electric anchor winch, and multiple steering winches by Harken. Navigation equipment includes Furuno GPS, chart plotter, depth sounder, autopilot, and radar, complemented by VHF radio and a Dragonfly 7 PRO sounder. Deck fittings include teak sections in the cockpit and helmsman area, plus comprehensive shade covers and canvas work.

The yacht carries a survival raft and an auxiliary 9.9hp Mercury outboard. The twin propellers are folding three-blade units. Composite hull construction and antifouling paint are in place.
