2008 Hunter 45 Deck Salon

The 2008 Hunter 45 Deck Salon is a 45-foot cruising sailboat with a fiberglass hull and fin keel design. Powered by a Yanmar 4JH4-TE diesel engine producing 75 horsepower, it cruises at 6.5 knots with a maximum speed of 8.7 knots. The boat features dual helm stations on deck, a wraparound windshield, and an electric windlass for anchoring. Standing rigging and sails have been recently replaced, and canvas work is newer.

The deck salon interior centers on a bright, open main cabin with oversized ports and natural light complemented by woodwork throughout. The layout includes two cabins: an aft stateroom with a queen berth, hanging locker, and private access to an aft head, and a forward cabin with a side-mounted double berth. Two heads and showers serve the yacht, along with a large galley and generous storage.

Recent upgrades include lithium battery systems and solar panels. Air conditioning is installed. The sailplan uses furling sails with a B & R rig and a unique double-ended mainsheet system designed for efficient crew handling. Offshore electronics are on board to support extended cruising.
