2008 Lagoon 420

The 2008 Lagoon 420 is a 42-foot fiberglass catamaran built for comfortable cruising and ease of handling. Twin 80 hp Yanmar diesel engines power the boat at a cruising speed of 6.95 knots. The design prioritizes practical seamanship and relaxation, with a helm station configured for single-handed sailing and an aft passerelle connecting the transoms without returning through the cockpit—useful when docking or moving between hulls.

Accommodations include five cabins and five heads. Four staterooms feature king-size berths with separate dry heads equipped with electric flush toilets and shower heads. A fifth cabin forward contains a single berth with a wet head. The cockpit features a large bench-seating arrangement and table protected by a hardtop bimini cover.

The deck layout emphasizes uncluttered movement with wide sidedecks, flush hatches, and numerous lockers. Additional equipment includes a rigid bimini, tall rig, small bowsprit, overlapping genoa, and mooring gear. A major refit was completed in January 2021.
