2020 Lagoon 42

The 2020 Lagoon 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built around a revolutionary single-level design that flows seamlessly from the aft platform through the saloon. At 42 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, the hull delivers the stability and comfort characteristic of the Lagoon range. Twin Yammer 4JH45 diesel engines provide 90 horsepower combined for reliable cruising performance. An electric windlass is fitted for anchoring convenience.

The deck layout prioritizes easy handling and efficiency. The mast is positioned aft, paired with a self-tacking jib that simplifies sail management. All operations are concentrated in one work area. The helming station sits at the coach roof bulkhead, positioned to maximize direct communication between cockpit and saloon while improving circulation forward and aft. A composite bimini with sliding panel provides shade and clear sight lines to the sails, with a closure panel available for security underway.

Interior volumes are generous, accessed through a large glazed door that spans the entire width of the coach roof. The cockpit features smooth, elegant curves and benefits from suspended transom steps that create a wide, continuous platform. Ergonomic design throughout ensures excellent use of space and intuitive movement around the boat.
