This 2009 Lagoon 420 is a 42-foot fiberglass catamaran designed for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard. The boat features an open layout that connects the helm, galley, and cockpit, with a hard bimini and solar arch providing substantial shade over the social areas. The galley is equipped with a gas stovetop, gas oven, microwave, and grill, while four cabins provide sleeping accommodation throughout the boat.
Power comes from two Yanmar diesel engines of 78 horsepower each. The yacht has been outfitted with substantial systems for autonomous cruising: 2800 watts of solar panels feed six 300-amp-hour lithium house batteries, which also power a thermodynamic air conditioning system. Standing rigging was newly installed in February 2026 by Nance & Underwood. The rig includes an ICW-friendly mast and bowsprit with code zero.
Additional equipment includes a Highfield tender, custom laundry and storage solutions, and numerous other upgrades selected for long-range offshore capability. The boat's layout and systems support both extended passages and permanent residency.
