2008 Mainship 34 Trawler

This 2008 Mainship 34 Trawler is a fiberglass-hulled trawler built for extended cruising. The semi-displacement hull features a deep forefoot and full-length keel, delivering a cruising speed of 8 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots. Power comes from a single Yanmar 6LY3-UTP diesel engine rated at 380 horsepower with only 1,399 hours of running time. The boat is equipped with Side-Power bow and stern thrusters for precise maneuvering.

The 34-foot hull spans a 14-foot beam and provides a single cabin with a master stateroom featuring a queen bed, cherry wood trim, and cedar-lined lockers. The salon offers a sofa and entertainment, while the galley features a U-shaped layout with teak and holly flooring and cherry cabinetry. A Force10 propane stove with oven and an Isotherm refrigerator with freezer support meal preparation. The head includes a separate stall shower.

Navigation and systems are comprehensive. Dual Garmin 3210 chart plotters, Raymarine radar and autopilot, a weather station, and dual Yanmar engine status displays support passage-making. Power management includes a Magnum MagnaSine 2800-watt inverter, ProNautic 50-amp charger, and a complete new battery bank installed in December 2025 comprising start, house, and thruster batteries. A new Nextgen generator with 299 hours rounds out the electrical setup.

The flybridge offers ample seating and a summer galley. Wide side decks with high stainless steel rails provide safe footing. Fuel capacity is 250 gallons, with 70 gallons of fresh water and a 30-gallon holding tank. Ground tackle includes a Lewmar electric windlass, 20-pound anchor, 100 feet of chain, and 180 feet of nylon rode. An 11-gallon Atwood electric water heater supplies hot water throughout.
