The 2008 Meridian 459 is a 47-foot fiberglass motoryacht powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 760 horsepower. Her design balances cruising capability with comfort, featuring a forward guest stateroom with private head and a full-beam master suite aft with en-suite facilities. The master includes direct access to the cockpit via large sliding glass doors. The yacht offers well-appointed bridge and aft decks, a generous salon with abundant natural light, and thoughtfully laid out interior spaces suited to extended cruising and entertaining.
The boat has been actively maintained since 2008, with regular haul-outs, bottom paint, waxing, and professional mechanical care. A comprehensive refit program between 2023 and 2025 addressed critical systems: new shafts and couplers, engine mounts and stringers, propellers tuned, rudder stuffing boxes repacked, and a replaced stern thruster. All interior and exterior lighting was upgraded to LED. Engine and generator cooling systems received new water pumps and impellers.
Navigation and connectivity systems installed in 2023–2025 include a full NMEA 2000 network, Garmin chartplotter and radar with AIS, Garmin on-deck monitoring with cell modem, Fusion radio with Sirius-XM and three-zone audio control, Raymarine autopilot with power steering assist, and Starlink with fixed mounting. A Victron 800-watt inverter with auto transfer switch was installed for salon and aft cabin power. The transom was repaired and re-bedded, trim tabs were re-bedded, and new canvas and Strataglass were fitted. Two sets of house batteries support extended anchoring, and a Rocna anchor with 300 feet of chain is included. Dock lines, fenders, life jackets, linens, and safety equipment come with the boat.
