This 42-foot custom trimaran was originally built in Finland with a central hull and strip-planked floats, then substantially reconstructed between 2005 and 2009. The rebuild introduced carbon arms designed by John Shuttleworth, a new carbon/foam centreboard, and a lifting carbon rudder in an articulated box. A new mast was installed in 2013. The boat is powered by a single 30 hp Nanni diesel engine.
Between 2016 and recently, the boat underwent comprehensive upgrades including new electronics, rigging, and sails, complete interior and exterior paintwork, and new equipment throughout. The interior accommodates two cabins and one head, with a comfortable saloon seating four and a spacious galley. Note that cabin access requires bending to pass through continuous structural elements.
The trimaran has demonstrated strong offshore performance, recording multiple days over 300 nautical miles during the 2023 Transat with bursts above 24 knots. The carbon construction provides structural rigidity and strength suitable for both extended cruising and racing. The boat is suited equally to a family seeking a capable cruising platform or a racing crew looking to exploit her potential.
