2016 Farrier FARRIER F32 RX

The Farrier F32 RX is a high-performance racing and cruising trimaran built to exceptional standards. Imported from Australia in early 2016 with under 300 miles on the hull, this composite boat was supervised during construction by designer Ian Farrier himself and is regarded as one of the finest examples ever built. The X-version features a rear cabin with a 3-meter-wide central hull that significantly improves livability. The build combines epoxy sandwich construction with carbon arms, carbon-crossed design for improved seakeeping, and carbon components throughout including the boom, rudder, tiller, centerboard, and cabin panels. The boat displaces 2.1 tonnes.

The yacht carries a single 20 hp Honda four-stroke engine with hydraulic tilt and electric start controlled from the cockpit, connected via linkage to the rudder for easier maneuvering. A carbon rotary mast replaced the original in 2019 as part of an upgrade to the RX specification. The sail wardrobe is comprehensive and modern: a 44 square-meter mainsail with carbon battens from 2019, a 20 square-meter foresail from 2025, a 30 square-meter flying jib from 2023, an 89 square-meter asymmetric spinnaker from 2024, a 41 square-meter Code 0, plus spare jibs and a storm sail. All sails are maintained regularly and stored dry each winter.

Equipment includes six two-speed Andersen winches, a 2025 windlass, Raymarine navigation electronics with autopilot and tridata display, VHF radio, electric toilet with 70-liter waste tank and 220-liter freshwater tank, new battery with charge management, and a 2.7-meter retractable carbon boom. The boat features new Ferrari trampolines and netting forward, a Le Bihan canvas cover with bimini, removable rail stanchions, and new copper hull coating applied in 2019. An Australian trailer is included. The boat sleeps six and comfortably cruises four people in Category B conditions. It has been professionally maintained and wintered annually with records available.
