2009 Hunter 41 Deck Salon

This 2009 Hunter 41 Deck Salon is a fiberglass sailing yacht built around a single Yanmar 54 hp diesel engine. The 38-foot hull carries a beam of 13.25 feet and has operated exclusively in freshwater. Recent years have brought significant upgrades throughout the boat, including a complete replacement of running rigging and new hatch lenses, paired with professional maintenance and a custom winter canvas cover.

Navigation and electronics center on a new Raymarine suite: dual Axiom plotters (12" and 7"), an Evolution autopilot, and integrated wind, depth, and speed displays. Ground tackle consists of a Rocna 20 kg anchor with 160 feet of chain. Mechanical systems include a Westerbeke 5.5 kW generator, a Vari-Prop four-blade folding propeller, and a Katadyn watermaker. Bow and stern thrusters provide docking control, while dual-zone air conditioning and heating support year-round comfort.

The interior accommodates cruising with two heads, each equipped with a shower. The galley features an upgraded large-capacity refrigerator. The main salon has a Bose sound system and benefits from the Deck Salon design's panoramic visibility; the cockpit adds a Sony audio system and newly cushioned seating. The foredeck includes a custom sun pad with waterproof cover and pillows.

The Yanmar engine shows approximately 1,500 hours, and the generator approximately 850 hours. An Atkins & Hoyle davit system is installed for tender handling. A custom cradle supports storage and seasonal care.
