2009 Hunter 49

This 2009 Hunter 49 is an offshore cruising sloop built on a 49-foot hull with a generous 14.75-foot beam. The boat features a fractional rig designed for easy handling by a single sailor or a couple, and draws on Hunter Marine's reputation for building capable blue-water cruisers. Power comes from a Yanmar 4JH4-HTE diesel engine rated at 110 horsepower, paired with a Fischer Panda diesel generator for auxiliary power.

The interior arranges three cabins and two heads, with full air conditioning across three units. Ultraleather cushions trim the cabin spaces. A watermaker supplies fresh water, supplemented by 150 gallons of main diesel fuel capacity plus 65 gallons auxiliary. Navigation and systems benefit from electronics upgraded in 2017–2018. Starlink connectivity is installed, and a bow thruster added in 2017 aids maneuvering. Five conventional winches and one electric winch handle sail control.

Engine hours stand at 1,315 on the main diesel and 443.5 on the generator. All five batteries were replaced in 2024. A 2023 dinghy with outboard motor and davits is included. The boat has been maintained with documented service history throughout its ownership.
