The 2009 Marquis 420 Sport Coupe is a 42-foot fiberglass express cruiser with a modern design by Nuvolari-Lenard. Powered by twin Volvo D6 diesel engines producing 435 horsepower each, the boat features IPS joystick control at both the helm and aft cockpit for responsive maneuvering. The hull was repainted in custom Flag Blue in late 2024 and has had recent bottom paint applied.
The interior layout comprises two staterooms and one head. The master stateroom features an en-suite V-berth with new smart flatscreen TV, air conditioning and heating, hanging locker, reading lights, and an escape hatch. The guest stateroom has side-by-side twin berths, flatscreen TV, hanging locker, and operable portholes. Custom woodwork throughout uses exotic hardwoods, complemented by new interior upholstery and new wall liners.
The saloon and galley benefit from large windows and an electric retractable carbon fiber sunroof. The fully equipped galley includes granite countertops. The salon features an adjustable hi-lo table and fully opening rear doors that connect to the aft cockpit. The aft section includes a refrigerator, ice maker, and teak finishing. Entertainment is handled by a premium stereo system with multiple speakers and JL Audio subwoofers, paired with disappearing televisions throughout. The boat carries three air conditioning units and a 13-kilowatt Kohler generator.
Recent service includes new batteries and a new dockboost transformer installed in September 2025, a seven-year cooling system service in early 2023, and new bottom paint in late 2024. Additional equipment includes Raymarine navigation electronics with GPS, radar, autopilot, and fishfinder, LED underwater lights, central vacuum system, vacuum flush toilet, hydraulic teak swim step, and stainless steel anchor.
