The 2009 Sabre 42 Express is a fiberglass sports cruiser designed for confident, responsive handling across a range of sea conditions. Twin Cummins diesel engines produce 850 horsepower combined, delivering smooth cruising in the mid-20 knot range with the solid seakeeping qualities Sabre hulls are known for. The hardtop design and proven powertrain make her equally suited to relaxed day trips and extended coastal cruising.
The boat's exterior received Awl Grip paint in 2018 and features a Freedom Tender Lift. The cockpit includes reupholstered cushions and Stidd chairs, both refreshed in 2019. The helm benefits from the responsive handling and precise maneuverability the 42 Express platform delivers.
Engines, pods, and generator have recently completed major service with approximately 1000 hours on the engines. Varnish work is scheduled for April 2026.
