2010 Bavaria Cruiser 51

The 2010 Bavaria Cruiser 51 is a 49-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for comfortable cruising. Powered by a Volvo Penta D2 diesel engine with 75 horsepower (installed August 2018, 3,534 hours), she is equipped with a Raymarine autopilot and navigation suite including a C80 GPS plotter, VHF radio, and echo sounder. The boat carries a full suit of sails: a 2020 full-batten mainsail and 2020 furling genoa, both maintained with associated hardware and a roller reef system. Recent updates include a 2023 spray hood and 2023 bimini.

The layout accommodates five cabins served by three heads. Deck features include an electric anchor windlass, Delta anchor with 80 metres of chain, compass, speed log, and wind instruments. The boat is outfitted with a comprehensive inventory of standing and running rigging, mooring lines in multiple lengths, a 2.4-metre dinghy with oars, and eight fenders.

Safety equipment consists of a life raft rated for eight persons, ten life jackets, six harnesses, fire extinguishers, flares, and a sea anchor. Navigation aids include a hand-bearing compass, binoculars, charts, and parallel rulers. A Honda 2.3 horsepower outboard motor provides auxiliary propulsion.

The galley features an electric ice box and gas stove, accompanied by a full complement of crockery, utensils, and cookware. Engine spares including filters, alternator belt, impeller, and lubricants are included. Documentation comprises boat papers, engine and boat manuals, and seventeen charts along with pilot guides.
