2010 DeFever 48 Trawler

The 2010 DeFever 48 Trawler is a three-cabin, fiberglass-hulled offshore trawler designed around comfort and seaworthiness. Twin John Deere diesel engines produce 400 horsepower total and have logged 1,850 hours. The boat cruises at 10 knots with a maximum speed of 13 knots, powered by efficient diesel fuel for extended range.

Below deck, the galley, salon, and lower helm occupy the main level, with three cabins and two full heads featuring walk-in showers. A laundry area includes a washer and dryer. The engine room is accessible via a walk-in entrance and houses a 12.5 kW Westerbeke generator, 24-volt Side-Power bow thruster, and windlass. A spacious flybridge and aft deck provide outdoor living space.

Recent updates include new electronics, a new isinglass enclosure, a battery charger installed in 2026, and bottom paint applied in 2024. The boat measures 48 feet in length with a 15-foot beam and is equipped with a Brower low-profile davit for tender deployment.
