The 2010 Ranger Tugs R-29 is a fiberglass trawler built with the practicality of full-time cruising in mind. At 29 feet with a 10-foot beam, the boat accommodates six adults across two cabins, each with privacy doors. The forward stateroom includes a full head with electric toilet, shower, vanity, and sink.
The interior prioritizes comfort and usability. Abundant windows around the cabin provide 360-degree visibility and natural light. The galley occupies the entire starboard side with generous counter space, a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water and swivel faucet, and a two-burner Force 10 LPG stove with oven. A Nova Kool refrigerator and Dometic wine fridge provide cooling options. The single helm seat faces forward with an autopilot and comprehensive electronics suite including Garmin GPS/plotter, radar, and VHF radio.
Power comes from a single Yanmar 6BY-260 turbocharged diesel engine with 2,200 hours, offering cruising speeds around 17 mph. The boat carries a Mase 4 kW generator with 70 hours of use. Climate control includes a Planar diesel furnace and engine-mounted cabin heater. Hot water is supplied by a 23-litre dual-source water heater, with additional pressure hot and cold water throughout. Bow and stern thrusters aid maneuvering.
The boat was professionally serviced in October 2025 with new bottom paint and zincs. Additional equipment includes a brand new dinghy with motor, manual davits, and a full suite of onboard entertainment and navigation electronics. Battery systems comprise two 12-volt starting batteries and four 6-volt house batteries, with Victron monitoring and a ProMariner TruePower inverter and charger.
