2012 Custom Sibma Navale Italiana Armstrong 12

This 2012 Custom Sibma Navale Italiana Armstrong 12 is a 42-foot wooden trawler built to CE Category B standards. Twin 240 hp Volkswagen diesel engines deliver a cruising speed of 8 knots with a maximum speed of 12 knots. The hull is constructed from laminated iroko wood with a V-displacement design and deep keel, reinforced with double-layer sapele mahogany superstructure on ash frames and mahogany stringers. The deck is laid in 12 mm teak over mahogany, providing a robust and refined platform.

The yacht accommodates six with a master cabin featuring a double berth, ensuite bathroom and shower, plus a forward guest cabin with three single berths and separate guest head. The saloon features a spacious dinette with large sofa and table, all finished in quality wood cabinetry. The galley is equipped with a four-burner gas stove, two sinks, and refrigerator.

Navigation and domestic systems are comprehensive. Equipment includes GPS, compass, depth sounder, autopilot, 220V boiler, heating, and entertainment options. Power is supplied via a 12V and 24V system with three 180 Ah service batteries and two 120 Ah engine batteries, supported by a 220V shore connection, electronic charger, and 3.5 kW generator. Water systems include hot and cold pressurized supply with an outdoor shower, while safety features encompass an electric bilge pump (120 l/min), manual backup, fire suppression in the engine room, and Category B navigation equipment.

The teak cockpit opens to generous deck space with an electric windlass, swimming ladder, and hydraulic Opacmare gangway with teak grating. A transom cleat has been restored. The yacht includes onboard manuals, safety equipment, spare parts, and fenders.
