The 2012 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 27-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single 180 hp Yammer diesel engine with approximately 500 hours of service. The boat features nearly 50 square feet of aft deck space, making the cockpit 25 percent larger than the R-25 model and providing substantial room for entertaining and equipment while keeping engine noise isolated from the cabin.
Below deck, the well-appointed interior includes a spacious V-berth forward with over 65 inches of length, sleeping two adults. Amidships, a convertible office space with desk and chair transforms into a second two-person berth, while the dinette features a hydraulic piston table that converts between dining and lounging arrangements. The galley is equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, combination propane stove and oven, and inverter. The head includes an electric flush toilet, glass vessel sink, and shower.
The boat is outfitted with bow and stern thrusters for enhanced docking maneuverability, a Mase generator, Garmin GPS and radar systems, and a solar charging system. Additional equipment includes a custom cover and stern awning. The 8.5-foot beam allows the boat to be trailered readily, and a Magma grill is included.
