This 2012 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 27-foot fiberglass trawler built for cruising and coastal exploration. Powered by a single 180-horsepower Yammer diesel engine with 856 hours, it delivers solid fuel efficiency for extended voyages. Bow and stern thrusters make docking and tight-space maneuvering straightforward without relying on the main engine.
The wheelhouse and cabin are well-equipped for navigation and comfort. Garmin electronics include GPS, radar, and sounder, while a separate Garmin VHF and autopilot round out the systems. A Yammer engine display monitors mechanical performance. Four AGM batteries and a 50-amp charger (switchable 20/30 amp) support extended cruising, supplemented by a solar panel.
Below deck, the interior includes a full galley with refrigerator, propane stove and oven, and microwave. An enclosed head features a marine toilet with shower, and a convertible dinette provides additional seating. Webasto diesel cabin heat extends the usable season. A propane barbecue is mounted on deck.
Additional equipment includes a windlass, fusion stereo, rear-view camera, washdown pump, downrigger plates and plugs, and canvas covers. A Walker Bay tender and EZ Loader trailer are included. Recent upgrades include the steering valve and galley and head cabinetry.
