Argos is a 48-foot steel-hulled sailing yacht built in 2013 by Bruce Roberts, designed for extended offshore cruising. She carries a single Yanmar 75 hp diesel engine and is rigged with dual masts, providing both propulsive redundancy and traditional sailing capability for self-sufficient ocean voyaging.
The interior comprises two cabins and two heads. The aft master holds a double berth, while the forward cabin features a V-berth with TV and personal fans. Both heads include electric toilets, freshwater showers, and mirrored cabinets. The main saloon is fitted with an extendable dining table, wraparound sofas with integrated storage, a full library, and extensive cabinetry throughout.
The galley is equipped with a FORCE 10 electric stove and oven, microwave, dual-basin sink serving both salt and fresh water, full cookware storage, a 12V freezer, a 12V refrigerator, and a 110VAC fridge. A navigation station features a Blue Sea Systems DC/AC panel with 52 circuits, VHF and SSB radios, Garmin GPS, Raymarine Tridata, Iridium Go, and chart desk. Climate control includes 5,000 BTU air conditioning in the aft cabin and 12,000 BTU in the saloon, both 110VAC powered.
The water system consists of 700 liters of stainless steel tanks with a Katadyn 40 watermaker, prefilters, 12V pumps, and cockpit shower access for both salt and fresh water. This comprehensive systems integration supports autonomous offshore operation and long-term cruising.
