The Leopard 48 is a fiberglass catamaran built in 2013 and extensively refitted between 2021 and 2022. She is powered by dual Yammer engines of 108 hp each and maintains a cruising speed of 9 knots. The boat was designed for extended cruising and liveaboard life, having completed over 12,000 nautical miles across the Pacific and Southeast Asia.
The layout includes four cabins with three heads, providing comfortable accommodation for families or couples planning extended voyages. Interior amenities include a large bathroom, galley with electric cooking, desk area, lounge seating, and substantial storage throughout. The boat is set up with a washing machine installation and engineered for practical maintenance while living aboard.
Significant systems upgrades were completed during the recent refit: substantial lithium battery capacity, powerful solar panels, dual inverters, water makers, diesel heaters, generator, and air conditioning for at-anchor use. Navigation and communication equipment includes updated chartplotters and satellite systems. The standing rigging was upgraded, and the boat carries dual tenders. Refrigeration includes multiple units, and autopilots are fitted for hands-free sailing.
The hull demonstrates good upwind sailing characteristics and stability downwind. She has never been chartered or storm-damaged. Comprehensive service records and a recent survey are available.
