The 2015 Leopard 48 is a cruising catamaran built by Robertson and Caine to a design by Simonis Voogd. Her fiberglass hull spans 48 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, powered by twin 114-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines that deliver a cruising speed of 8 knots. The signature forward cockpit creates a sheltered social area with good airflow, flowing directly into the saloon, while a raised helm station offers visibility and straightforward sail handling.
Below deck, the layout comprises four cabins and four heads, with an additional crew berth and a dedicated laundry space created from a converted forward head. The interior is bright and functional with generous living areas and ample storage throughout, designed for extended cruising and liveaboard comfort.
The yacht has undergone substantial upgrades over recent years. A 2021 refit added new headsails and mainsails, a Flexofold propeller set, a 100-liter-per-hour watermaker, full Victron electrical system with 3000W inverter and 800Ah lithium batteries, and a new outboard-powered dinghy. Further 2023 improvements included 3500W of bifacial solar panels on a custom roof frame, a second 3000W Victron inverter, a Highfield 3.6-meter tender, an electric dive compressor, and complete replacement of standing and running rigging. In 2024, engine and saildrive mounts, rudder bearings, the watermaker's low-pressure pump, and 100 meters of anchor chain were renewed. The bowsprit and Code Zero furler were replaced in 2025.
The boat is equipped with extensive recreational gear including a floating dock, paddleboards, wing boards, dive tanks, kiteboards, and kite selection. She will receive fresh antifouling prior to delivery.
