The 2013 Ranger Tug R-31 is a fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising. At 31 feet with a 10-foot beam, she's powered by a single 300 horsepower Volvo diesel engine, capable of 22 knots at top speed and 17 knots while cruising.
The interior includes two staterooms: a large forward cabin with an island berth and en-suite head, plus a midship berth with a day head. A galley and lower helm station are positioned to maximize usable space. A starboard door at the helm provides direct access to the side decks and bow for line handling.
Equipment includes an Onan 5 kW generator, air-conditioning and heating, bow and stern thrusters for maneuvering, and solar panels. Navigation systems are Garmin-equipped. The layout sleeps six and incorporates a dinette for dining and day use.
