The Rustler 33 is a Stephen Jones-designed daysailer and weekender built in 2013 using vacuum-infused fiberglass construction. Her distinctive character draws from post-war Metre yacht aesthetics, with a retroussé counter, narrow beam, and classic proportions that command attention. The boat carries a Selden carbon fiber mast installed in 2021 and a comprehensive sail wardrobe including furling A2, A4, and Code Zero sails. A 1.67-meter draft lead fin keel and fully balanced rudder provide responsive handling, while a Nanni 14 hp diesel engine with Saildrive transmission ensures reliable auxiliary power.
Harken deck gear and Raymarine navigation instruments—including GPS plotter, AIS, and autopilot—support both racing and cruising. The interior layout offers four berths finished in satin-varnished teak and white eggshell, with Alcantara upholstery throughout. A galley includes a gas stove and sink, while a separate heads compartment features a holding tank. Additional equipment includes shorepower and battery charging capability, anchor and chain, and a two-bladed propeller.
This example was delivered to its first owner in 2013 and moved to its second owner in 2015. It has since been based in Guernsey, where it has been actively used for club racing and family cruising, with several crossings to Cowes Week competitions, including a win in the Cointreau Cup. The boat is Guernsey-registered with UK VAT paid.
