2014 Amel 64

The 2014 Amel 64 is a composite sailing yacht built for extended cruising, measuring 63 feet in length with an 18-foot beam. It features the rare four-cabin layout: three double cabins plus a skipper's cabin on the port side, with three separate head compartments. Powered by a Steyr 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 150 horsepower with approximately 1,400 hours of use, the yacht also carries a folding propeller for improved maneuverability.

The boat is comprehensively equipped for serious offshore work. A 19 kVA Onan generator (1,950 hours) powers the reversible air conditioning system throughout, supported by Webasto heating. The desalination watermaker produces 300 liters per hour and has logged 520 hours. Bow and stern thrusters aid docking, while an electric windlass handles the anchor. A hydraulic bathing platform with tender garage and remotely controlled hydraulic gangway facilitate water activities and guest boarding. An electric hardtop with remote control from the helm provides weather protection.

The yacht has seen minimal use from one original owner and two captains since new. It has been well maintained and includes a full winter cover. The Steyr engine, generator, and watermaker all show modest running hours relative to the yacht's age.
