2014 Cutwater 28

The 2014 Cutwater 28 is a fiberglass sports cruiser built for family cruising and fishing. Powered by a single 260-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine with 885 hours, the boat measures 28 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam. The keel-stepped hull design delivers fuel efficiency, comfortable ride quality, and responsive handling. Twin bow and stern thrusters provide precise maneuvering in tight spaces.

The two-cabin, one-head layout centers on a spacious V-berth forward with hanging locker, a convertible dinette with high/low table that sleeps additional guests, and a quarter berth tucked beneath. The galley includes a Princess two-burner stove with oven and dual propane burners, a sink with fold-down prep space, and a hot water tank heated by either shore power or the engine. A Webasto forced-air furnace provides heating, while an upgraded electric head with shower completes the accommodation spaces.

Navigation and helm control are well-equipped with twin Garmin 7212 chart plotters, radar dome, GPS antenna, and Garmin autopilot. A Fusion stereo system, 19-inch flat screen, and LED navigation lights with remote-controlled spotlight support daily operation. The boat carries 100 gallons of fuel, 40 gallons of fresh water, and a 30-gallon holding tank. Dual Garmin chart plotters provide redundancy for navigation, and a Lewmar 1000 windlass with helm and bow controls manages ground tackle.

Recent maintenance includes new batteries installed two months ago, exterior canvas renewed one year ago, replacement of the rear helm Volvo control last year, and fresh cabin upholstery. All routine maintenance has been performed annually, with the most recent service completed in June 2025. The boat includes an 8-foot Cutwater inflatable RIB with davit system for tender operations, bow platform with stainless steel ladder, cockpit sink with shower, and folding cockpit seats.
