The Hylas 56 is a proven bluewater cruiser, and this 2014 example carries the credentials to prove it. She recently completed a circumnavigation and returns with a shoal-draft keel drawing just 6 feet 4 inches—a genuine advantage for gunkholing and anchorages. The boat features a center cockpit layout with three cabins and two heads, supported by a Yanmar 110 hp diesel engine currently showing 3,954 hours. The hull received fresh Alexseal topcoat in 2020 and a new barrier coat after stripping to gelcoat in 2022.
