2014 Ranger Tugs R-27

This 2014 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 27-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single 200 HP Volvo Penta D3 diesel engine with just 600 hours of running time. The boat is equipped with both bow and stern thrusters for precise maneuvering, electric trim tabs, and a 2.7 kW generator. Navigation and targeting systems include a Garmin 8612xsv with GPS and sonar, Garmin radar, and an autopilot. Additional electronics comprise VHF radio with DSC capability, color engine display with digital fuel flow data, and a Fusion multi-zone stereo system.

The cabin layout features a forward private stateroom with a V-berth sleeping two adults and measuring over 6 feet 5 inches in length, plus a midship office space with desk that converts to an additional berth for two. The galley is well-equipped with a propane stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, sink with hot and cold water and pull-out rinse, and four cabinets with four matching drawers. The fully enclosed head includes an electric marine toilet with holding tank, glass vessel sink, and shower enclosure.

Accommodations continue throughout with air conditioning and reverse-cycle heating, atrium skylights, indirect and LED lighting, opening portlights, privacy curtains, and a stateroom television. The dinette seats four and converts to a berth via hydraulic piston. Deck features include nearly 50 square feet of aft space, EVA foam traction decking, a swim platform with rails and stainless steel swimming ladder, bow lounge seating, and a folding stainless steel mast for trailering. An 8-foot 6-inch beam allows the yacht to be trailered despite its size. The cockpit includes a soft-top cover, sink, table, gas grill, and transom entry door. A complete safety kit and 50-foot shore power cord are included. The hull is Midnight Blue with a vinylester barrier coat and foam-filled fiberglass stringer grid construction.
