The 2015 Beneteau Sense 55 is a deck saloon cruising yacht designed by Berret Racoupeau with interiors by Nauta Design. At 55 feet with a 16.42-foot beam, the boat combines modern sailing performance with a comfortable interior layout. Power comes from a single 75 hp Yanmar diesel engine.
The interior accommodates four cabins and three heads across the main saloon and forward spaces. Factory options include air-conditioning and heating, a generator, microwave, and washer/dryer. Additional features installed include electric winches, a Dock & Go joystick docking system, television, and solar panels rated at 400 watts. Navigation systems comprise Raymarine chartplotters and AIS.
Recent maintenance and upgrades span the engine, rigging, and systems. The engine completed a 1,000-hour service. Standing rigging was replaced, along with new sail drive seals and rudder bearings. Most through-hulls have been replaced. Exterior upgrades include a new dodger and bimini top. Safety equipment includes a new 6-person liferaft. An extensive sail inventory and Starlink communication system are also aboard.
