2015 Catamaran Catathai 50

This 2015 Catathai 50 catamaran is a 50-foot composite-hulled cruiser powered by twin Yammer diesel engines of 106 horsepower each. The boat has a beam of over 26 feet, providing the generous interior space typical of its design. Twin engines deliver a cruising speed of 9 knots with a maximum speed of 12 knots.

The accommodation layout comprises four double cabins and two heads, with additional sleeping berths in forward deck lockers. The interior features full air conditioning, a modern galley, and electric heads. The saloon and cockpit offer comfortable living and sheltered outdoor space. A substantial fuel capacity and intelligent tank system support extended cruising.

The boat has been maintained with significant recent upgrades. The electrical system was completely overhauled with new lithium-ion batteries and battery management, alongside a new 1500-watt solar array with MPPT control units. A Fischer Panda 11–13 kW generator provides additional power generation. As of January 2024, the hulls received routine maintenance, fresh anti-fouling, and a new Awlgrip boot top. May 2025 saw renewal of all standing rigging and a new mainsail. The boat holds CE certification of conformity.
