The 2015 Helmsman Trawlers 31 Sedan is a compact fiberglass trawler built on a proven full-keel design that balances comfort with genuine seagoing capability. Powered by a single Hyundai SeasAll 270 hp diesel engine, it cruises at 8 knots with a maximum speed of 15 knots. The boat has logged just 355 engine hours and carries aluminum fuel tanks with extra capacity for extended range.

The interior combines thoughtful layout with quality joinery in teak. The stateroom features an almost-queen berth, a separate shower compartment, and substantial storage. The main salon offers comfortable seating with a custom interior, while a flybridge above provides additional outdoor living space with three pedestal seats and a bench. The galley is well equipped with a two-burner Kenyon electric cooktop, Contoure convection oven and microwave, a NovaKool refrigerator and freezer, and Corian countertops. A Webasto 16,000 BTU reverse-cycle heat and air system maintains comfort year-round.

The boat is outfitted with modern systems: a Magnum MS-2800 inverter and charger, a Whisper Power M-SC 3.5 generator, new AGM battery banks installed in 2025, and a Vetus bow thruster for maneuvering. Navigation and communication electronics include a Garmin GPSMap 7612xsv, Garmin autopilot, Garmin HD radar, and Garmin VHF radio. A Lewmar V3 windlass handles the stainless steel anchor and chain. The fighting lady yellow hull is finished with bridge clearance of 16 feet 4 inches, or under 12 feet with the radar arch retracted.
