2015 Lagoon 400 S2

This 2015 Lagoon 400 S2 catamaran spans nearly 40 feet with a 24-foot beam, built from fiberglass using vacuum infusion and injection techniques for a strong, lightweight composite hull. Powered by twin Yanmar 3JH5E engines producing 40 horsepower each with saildrive transmission, the boat features a full-batten mainsail with three reefs and a furling genoa. Standing rigging was replaced in 2024, and both engines received service from a Yanmar official dealer.

The interior accommodates six cabins with four heads and is furnished throughout with Alpi reconstituted wood cabinetry finished by hand. Recent renovations in 2024 include new upholstery, carpet in the saloon, a new galley with Corian worktop and oven, and new toilet systems. Climate control comes from five Webasto air conditioning units installed in May 2024, with fans throughout all cabins. A Dessalator watermaker provides fresh water, and hot and cold pressure water is available at a cockpit shower.

Electrical systems are modern and extensive: four AGM service batteries replaced in April 2024, a new Whisper Power generator installed in May 2024, and a Victron Phoenix 3000-watt inverter added the same month. Navigation and communication equipment includes dual VHF stations, B&G GPS plotter, autopilot, tridata display, wind instruments, radar, and AIS. Deck features include a Lewmar electric windlass, electric freezer in the cockpit, bimini top with sprayhood, davits for a tender, and new cockpit shades. Safety equipment includes a life raft and EPIRB beacon rated for eight passengers.

The boat has undergone continuous improvements and maintenance throughout 2024, including new exterior canvas and cushions, hull polishing, rudder system inspection and wire replacement, and replacement of bilge and toilet pumps. All major systems—from air conditioning to engines to batteries—are current.
