This 2018 Leopard 48 catamaran is a five-cabin, five-head cruising platform built on a 48-foot fiberglass hull powered by twin 114-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. The 25-foot beam provides stability and interior volume typical of the design.
The current owners have invested substantially in systems and comfort upgrades throughout. Air conditioning totals 40,000 BTU. A water maker, washing machine, and ice maker support extended cruising. The galley includes a 24-inch Empava oven with custom stainless housing. Four heads feature fresh water flush capability. Refrigeration comprises an integrated Isotherm cruise CR200 unit plus a large Dometic fridge-freezer. Power comes from 1500Ah of lithium batteries paired with a Victron Quattro 5000-watt inverter-charger, supplemented by four solar panels on custom mounts. Navigation equipment includes dual chartplotters, AIS, and Starlink connectivity.
Deck and exterior improvements include stainless grab rails running the full length of both sides, a larger swim ladder, an eight-person life raft with custom mounting cradle, and a custom stainless barbecue swing mount. The anchor chain extends to 250 feet. Foredeck and cockpit cushions have been recovered with blue material and include additional grey covers for everyday use. A dive compressor and aft-facing cameras viewable from the helm complete the outfitting. Rigging was inspected by FKG with main halyard replaced.
