2015 Ranger Tugs R-29 S

The 2015 Ranger Tugs R-29 S is a 29-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single Volvo Penta D-4 diesel engine of 260 horsepower. The engine has logged 755 hours. The boat cruises at 16 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots, making it capable and efficient for extended cruising.

The interior layout includes two cabins and one head. Climate control is provided by dual air conditioning units—a 16,000 BTU system in the saloon and a 12,000 BTU system in the master suite. The galley is equipped with a two-burner electric stove and oven, microwave, and separate refrigerator and freezer units in both the galley and cockpit. A wine chiller is also installed. Hot and cold pressure water is available throughout.

Navigation and communication systems include a Garmin 7212 chartplotter with GPS, depth sounder, and fish finder, a Garmin 4-kilowatt xHD radar, AIS 300, Garmin autopilot with remote, and VHF radio. Entertainment features a Fusion stereo with Bluetooth and TV/DVD systems in both the master stateroom and saloon.

Additional equipment comprises bow and stern thrusters with wireless remote, a 3.5-kilowatt next-generation diesel generator with sound shield (93 hours), a 140-watt solar panel, 2,000-watt inverter, battery charger, and new batteries installed in 2023. A windlass with remote helm control, Magma stainless steel propane grill, cockpit bimini, and wraparound sun shade screen enclosure complete the setup. A cabin heater runs off the engine.
