The 2016 Leopard 43 Powercat is a fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 520-horsepower Yammer diesel engines. The stepped hull design maximizes interior volume while maintaining the performance characteristics the model is known for—a top speed of 24 knots and strong fuel efficiency at a cruising speed of 18 knots. The narrow hulls and reduced wetted surface contribute to both speed and economy.

The layout places the galley forward, with the main salon featuring a forward-facing settee and table positioned aft. Sliding glass doors connect the salon to the aft cockpit, while large windows and bow access create extensive sightlines. The flybridge is generously sized with a wet bar and grill, opening onto a forward sunbathing platform. This design fosters continuous indoor-outdoor flow throughout the boat.

The yacht has been extensively upgraded for autonomous cruising. Power systems include a 45-kilowatt lithium battery bank, dual 5000-watt Victron inverters with Cerbo GX control, 1800 watts of solar panels, and twin 160-amp alternators. A 9.5-kilowatt generator and portable Rainman watermaker support extended voyaging. The 50-amp shorepower package includes modern connectors.

The galley and cabin systems reflect luxury appointments: an induction cooktop, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher with sanitization, stainless steel sink with detachable faucet, washer-dryer combo, and dual 18,000-BTU air conditioning units. Entertainment includes a four-zone Fusion HD system with 240-watt speakers and waterproof amplifiers. Additional equipment comprises Starlink internet, Raymarine radar, four security cameras, a 360-degree remote spotlight, two 120-gallon coolers, flybridge ice maker, underwater lights, and a 360 Highfield tender with 30-horsepower Tohatsu outboard.
