2016 Moody 54 DS

This 2016 Moody 54 DS is a cruising sailboat built in fiberglass with a beam of 17 feet, offering substantial space and stability. The yacht is powered by a Volvo Penta D-3 diesel engine producing 150 horsepower with shaft drive, serviced in August 2024. The white hull features a teak deck and sits atop a cherry interior finished in cream upholstery.

The accommodation layout includes four cabins and three heads arranged around a central saloon with galley and lounge area. The boat is outfitted with comprehensive navigation electronics from Raymarine, including chartplotters, AIS transponder, VHF radio, and autopilot. Propulsion and maneuvering are well-supported with bow and stern thrusters, double electric gas throttles, and engine monitoring through NMEA integration. The ground tackle comprises a stainless steel anchor with electric winch. Recent upgrades include a new AGM battery power bank of eight units installed in March 2024.

Solar panels provide supplementary power. The yacht carries a full set of sail covers and is comprehensively equipped for extended cruising.
